Private Strategic Advisory

The years that define a child's
trajectory deserve more than chance.

Retained strategic oversight for families who invest seriously
in their children's development.

By Invitation or Referral

Your child has every resource.
Nobody is accountable for the whole.

Tutors, coaches, admissions consultants, therapists. Each specialist does their job well, but no one coordinates the whole.

The families who invest most heavily end up with the most complex environment around their child. Each specialist optimises their own area. But connecting one person's judgment to another's, seeing what today's choice produces years from now, and knowing when doing nothing is the better choice — that is a separate role.

I see the whole picture. I source and, where necessary, replace the people working with your child. I build the decision frameworks and the long-range positioning that ensures every intervention compounds rather than fragments.

The goal is not to do more. It is to do the right things, in the right order, and accumulate over time. That is how I advise.

The financial capital is professionally managed. The family's human capital rarely is.

The transfer of wealth is planned. The growth and judgment of the person who will inherit it should be too.

An investment portfolio without oversight is speculation.
A child's development without coordination is chance.

Six dimensions, one strategy

Each engagement is retained and shaped to the family. The six areas below are not separate services. They are one strategy, managed as a whole, so that progress in one area reinforces every other.

01

Specialist Coordination

Academic, extracurricular, and developmental providers sourced, curated, and held accountable to one strategy.

02

Academic Oversight

A written academic assessment covering current standing, specific gaps, and a term-by-term trajectory, delivered in the diagnostic and revisited each year.

03

School Interface

I attend meetings and prepare families for headteacher conversations. School obligations no longer fall on the parent alone.

04

Decision Architecture

School selection, gap years, university, career sequencing. Reversibility logic built into every high-stakes choice.

05

Parent & Child

I work with both, understand what each needs, and mediate between the two.

06

Development Architecture

The child takes decisions unprompted, argues a position under challenge, and recovers from setbacks without intervention, evidenced in termly provider reviews and the annual trajectory report.

This role has no precedent in education.
It was designed from first principles.

How a relationship begins

01

Discovery

A confidential conversation to understand the family structure, trajectory, and where oversight is absent. By invitation or referral.

02

Strategic Diagnostic

A fixed-scope engagement. Every specialist and gap assessed; concludes in a written strategy. Where every advisory begins.

03

Strategy

Positioning, sequencing, and coordination architecture across all interventions. A single strategy to which every specialist is held accountable.

04

Retained Oversight

Strategic reviews, direct coordination with all providers, and real-time recalibration as circumstances evolve. Ongoing, not episodic.

The discipline behind every consequential choice.

Every high-stakes choice a family faces is tested against three principles. Together they form the logic that runs through every recommendation, every sequence, and every entry on the decision calendar below.

Reversibility

Can it be undone? Reversible choices are made swiftly. Irreversible ones are given the weight they deserve, and never taken by default.

Sequencing

Is it being taken in the right order? Most consequential decisions are foreclosed not by a wrong answer, but by the wrong sequence, made by default before anyone treats them as decisions at all.

Alignment

Does this decision reflect who the child is becoming, and what the family stands for? Strategy without alignment produces achievement without meaning.

Every decision point across all children, mapped 24 months ahead: when it must be made, what it forecloses, and what preparation it requires.

Teresa Song

I was bottom of the class before I was top of it.

No tutors, no consultants, only the strategy I built for myself. That turnaround took me to a national economics prize awarded by the Bank of England, a scholarship to LSE, and a career at Morgan Stanley.

Fifteen years advising families since, working with those who have exhausted conventional advisory and want someone who operates at the level of the decision, not the task.

I kept seeing the same thing: extraordinary resources, fragmented attention.
The children who thrived had someone holding the whole picture.
These years don't come back. I make sure they count.
